AICP Fellows (FAICP) Info

American Insitute of Certified Planners Fellow

Are you, or do you know a member who has been AICP for at least ten years, contributed substantially to the profession, and is a member in good standing? If so, that member may be eligible for induction into the College of Fellows of the AICP (College). Induction to the College is the highest honor AICP bestows upon a member! Being considered for membership requires assembling a detailed Submission Package that captures the exemplary planner's career. Be sure to begin the Submission Package ASAP to ensure a successful application submission. A Submission Package includes: 

  1. Nominator Endorsement Letter Signed by Nominator

  2. One-Page Narrative Statement & Accomplishments

  3. Nominee’s Story

  4. Letters of Support

  5. 100-Word Statement

  6. Nominee Headshot  

  7. Processing Fee

Please be advised, the application deadline is July 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST.

APA Maryland

Welcome to the website of the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association. Our mission is to make great communities happen in Maryland by offering continuing professional development and other valuable services to our members that will enable them to excel in their practice. We advocate for excellence in planning, promoting education and citizen empowerment, and providing our members with the tools and support necessary to meet the challenges of growth and change. We hold a biennial conference, produce a monthly newsletter, offer continuous opportunities to network, and provide new and varied educational opportunities across the state.
